Q: How long does it take to get my account setup?

Due to the increased number of Credit Card Fraud transactions we manually verify each new account. We attempt to get all account setup and a welcome e-mail sent out within 2 hours. If it's been more than 8 hours and you still have not received your welcome email please contact us immediately to make sure we have your correct email address.

Q: What kind of load times can I expect of my site's web pages?

We regularly receive reports from customers around the world that access to their web sites is as fast as they've ever experienced. We continually monitor our network and server performance and have removed any bottlenecks that can cause slow load times. We have ample bandwidth utilizing multiple high-speed burstable digital internet connections from 4 multi-homed upstream providers encompassing CISCO BGP4 routing technology. We utilize only about 50% of our available bandwidth across our providers at any one time, which ensures we have plenty of available bandwidth to support your intensive traffic, applications, and any potential traffic activity spikes. Q: Can I FTP before my domain resolves to Drundo.Net?

Yes. We assign every account an alternative FTP address so you can upload your files before your domain fully resolves to our servers. The alternative FTP address will be immediately available when your account is setup. This is useful for those who want to get started right away whether you are registering a new domain or using an existing domain. We also assign every account an alternative URL so you can view your site before your domain fully resolves to our servers. For those who will be using an existing domain, you can use the alternative URL to test your web site before pointing your domain to our servers.

Q: Do the web hosting fees include the cost of my domain name?

All plans under our Application Hosting solutions do offer a free domain name registration in which case we will cover your fees for the first year of name registration. Since our Developers Hosting plans come with multiple site hosting options we do not offer a free domain under those plans. You can register your domains with any domain registrar. We provide domain registration service trough our domain registration site at: http://www.registercorner.net Since Registercorner is running with our DNS servers all domains registered with Registercorner.Net will be available imediately with your hosting service. You do not have to wait 24-48h for the DNS to propagate over the Internet.

Q: Can I upgrade to another hosting plan once I sign up?

Yes, You can upgrade your current hosting plan directly from your hosting account control panel. In fact, upgrades are instant and require absolutely no downtime at all. Many clients have chosen to start with a small plan and upgrade as their site grew (to help with budget on web setup costs). Log into your control panel and click on the icon that follows your plan name on the left hand side, then choose the plan you would like to upgrade/downgrade to.

Q: Can I run my own DNS servers?

Yes, you can run your own DNS services if you like. If you are running your own DNS, or have someone other than ourselves managing your DNS, you can use the shared address of the web server for your "www" record. The mail server IP address and other service addresses are similarily available to use in your DNS records. Note that if we are not managing your DNS and we need to change the IP address for any services you are using, you will be responsible for updating the DNS records to reflect the change. Under normal conditions we will give you ample warning of any such changes, however conditions may arise where there is little or no warning. We cannot take responsibility for any downtime, losses or other damages due to an IP address changes, announced or otherwise.

Q: Can I request a custom hosting plan based on my requirements?

Yes, if you have 5 or more active hosting accounts with us we will be happy to provide custom (discounted) plan based on your specific hosting needs.

Q: Do I get a static IP with my website?

In most cases, we do not automatically assign a unique IP to a customer's website. IP addresses are available (can be assigned directly from within your hosting account control panel) to customers with their own SSL certificates. All sites are set up with a temporary URL/URI in the drundo.net domain for you to use before your DNS information has been switched. Refer to your welcome kit for further information. In vitually every case this temporary address can safely be used instead of a temp ip.

Q: Do you support Microsoft ASP.NET 2.0 AJAX Extensions?

Yes, the AJAX framework is available with all hosting plans.

Q: How can I access my MS SQL 2005 Database?

The MSSQL database is available at a fixed external IP address and can be accessed by any client program or software which uses TCP, assuming that you have a valid SQL login for the database. Here is a non-exhaustive list of some of the common programs which can be used to connect to your database:
- Microsoft Enterprise Manager
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2003/2005
- Microsoft Query Analyzer
- Microsoft Access
- Macromedia Dreamweaver

Q: Do I need VisualStudio.NET to write and deploy .NET applications?

While VisualStudio.NET provides a rich design environment, it is not a prerequisite to designing or deploying .NET web applications. It is possible to write ASP.NET code in your favorite editor, and deploy the pages to your ASP.NET web site using FTP, Frontpage, Dreamweaver, etc.

Q: Can I setup multiple databases with my allotted SQL Server Storage space?

Yes, the combined disk space available with your hosting plan can be used for both MS SQL and file space. You can also add additional databases directly from within your hosting account control panel.

Q: Do you offer Linux/Unix hosting?

No, we do not offer hosting on the UNIX/LINUX platforms. We specialize in providing the best value in Windows-based shared hosting. By focusing our resources, we can serve this market segment much more fully than a host that attempts to provide many different types of hosting.

Q: Do you provide programing or debugging services?

Drundo.Net's support department does not support or handle requests for help with customer software or code. With the exception of the initial determination of whether a problem is related to a third-party product or the web server configuration, supported/provided components, or any other service-related issue. In general, we can assist in determining the cause of error messages and ensuring that no system/service related issue is causing a problem with application. This policy is in place because programing support is especially time consuming and the line between problem resolution and programming consulting can become blurred. We do not currently offer programing or debugging consulting services.

Q: Do you provide technical support?

Yes, we provide 24/7 technical support via our support ticket system and email. Because user information is more readily identifiable and helps speed up resolution, we give higher priority to submissions from the support ticket system available at: http://support.drundo.net

Q: Does Drundo provide a money back guarantee?
